“NY is Dead Doing”: Op-ed’s aside, if you think New York is dead, you don’t know the real New York. New York will never be dead. Our campaign is a tongue-in-cheek proclamation that small business is alive and well, thriving. And it’s a destination to showcase all of the merchants that persevered, reinvented themselves, and started up over the past year (tens of thousands of which opened businesses on Shopify!). This campaign celebrates the resilience of entrepreneurs of New York and provides them a space to grow, build and learn from other business owners.
